Novi DSS Accuses SNS: ‘Parking Servis’ Employees in Obrenovac Sent to Sign Our List
The New Democratic Party of Serbia (Novi DSS) today accused the local committee of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in Obrenovac of sending in an organized manner the employees of the municipal company “Parking servis”, with orders to sign en masse in support of the electoral list “Authentic Right – Dr. Miloš Jovanović”. According to the party, a similar situation occurred in the Stari grad municipality of Belgrade.
“With the cynical attempt of the local progressives of Obrenovac to contaminate our signature collection process for the electoral list, the current regime confirms its rotten strategy, choosing no means to render the entire electoral process meaningless,” the Novi DSS statement said.
The party announced that in Stari grad, SNS members went without the symbols of public companies, with the same goal. Novi DSS reads this as evidence that “the Authentic Right is getting stronger” and that the government understands that only with the votes of right-oriented citizens can a change of government and policy happen.
Novi DSS promised to filter every signature and every name and called on controllers at signing points for maximum vigilance, with the aim of preventing fraud. The list has been supported, among others, by academic Matija Beçkoviq, academic Kosta Çavoski, historian Nemanja Deviq, Bojan Dimitrijeviç and Dragomir Angjelkoviq, while the party also warns of “potential surprises”.
