Palestinian killed and several wounded in Israeli drone strike in Beit Lahia

A Palestinian has been killed and several others wounded in an Israeli drone strike in Beit Lahia, in the north of Gaza City, as Al Jazeera reports, citing the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

According to Wafa, the strike took place near the Abbas Kilani roundabout. In a separate incident, Israeli forces also shot another Palestinian near the western roundabout in Beit Lahia.

Medical sources say that in total at least six Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes during today in the Gaza Strip.

The strike comes on a day of escalating violence in the Palestinian territories, while the regional war between the U.S., Israel and Iran continues to widen.
