Ronaldo snubs the peace meeting, Jesus will call him up in November, Proença breaks his silence

Jorge Jesus seems to have taken a step back and told Cristiano Ronaldo that he will call him up for the November matches. Even though after the win over Norway the coach himself said at the usual press conference that he would not apologise to anyone.

Yesterday the player did not think about the peace meeting and took the plane to Saudi Arabia, snubbing the attempts at “peace” for the moment. According to Portuguese media, this meeting will be held during the training camp for the next matches, against Denmark (in Braga) and Wales.

On the other side stands the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, Pedro Proença, who has broken his silence on this issue. “I have no intention of saying in public what we discussed. I think they were normal discussions. In this issue we are talking about the best player of all time, who for two decades has given so much to our football. Cristiano Ronaldo is an icon and as such must be treated,” Proença said.
