The 50th March of the Angels in Kočani: parents of the “Puls” victims demand an intensive trial, over 10 hearings a month

The parents of the victims of the fire at the “Puls” nightclub in Kočani today held the 50th “March for the Angels”, demanding clean justice and an intensive trial without delays, as the Macedonian state news agency reports.

The march, as usual, started from Revolution Park, but this time it ended in front of the Kočani Basic Court. According to Sloboden Pečat, the parents demand that over 10 court hearings a month be held for the “Puls” case.

“We are not asking for trial by the street, but for the regular holding of court hearings,” the parents stressed, as Nova Makedonija reports.

The families conveyed the message that the “battle for truth and justice will not stop”, 24 Vesti writes.

The fire at the “Puls” nightclub took place on March 16, 2025 and left 63 people dead, mostly young people; the trial over the tragedy is still ongoing, while the parents have held weekly marches for more than a year.
