Tirana Seek Fans’ Backing, but Disciplinary Ruling Stands for Now

Tirana are seeking the support of their fans for the match against Elbasani, but for now the Disciplinary Committee’s decision remains in force. In a post on its official page, the white-and-blue club announced it has requested the conversion of the punishment so that supporters can be present at the next league match against Elbasani.

For now, the request to financially settle the remaining part of the sentence has been rejected, leaving in place the original ruling, which provides for the fixture to be played behind closed doors.

The club nevertheless announced it is pursuing all institutional procedures to challenge the decision and will inform fans and the sporting public of any further developments.
