Italy’s Squad: New Faces and Confirmations from Mancini

Here are the long-awaited call-ups for Mancini’s second spell in charge of the Italian national team.

The coach has officially named a 34-player list for the first four Nations League matches against Belgium (Friday, September 25 at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico), Turkey (Monday, September 28 in Bursa), France (Stade de France, Saint-Denis, Friday, October 2) and Turkey again (at Bologna’s Dall’Ara, Monday, October 5).

Called up to the national team for the first time are Pessina, Ghilardi, Kayode, Kouadio, Doumbia, Romano, Sebastiano Esposito (who rejoins the squad alongside his brother Pio), Vergara and Zoma. Fagioli and Zaniolo return to the group. The list also includes Daniel Maldini.
