‘Top Secret — Certified Copy’: Kosovo Police Urge Citizens to Beware of Fraudulent Messages
Kosovo Police inform citizens that fraudulent messages and forged documents are circulating, which in an unauthorized manner use the name, logos, stamps and forged signature of Kosovo’s institutions.

Kosovo Police clarify that the published document is not an official notice of Kosovo Police and citizens should not respond to such requests. We invite citizens not to share personal data, not to send documents or information through suspicious addresses, and not to take actions based on such messages.
Kosovo Police are undertaking the necessary actions to handle the case and identify the persons responsible. For any official information, citizens should refer only to the official channels of the institutions.
Kosovo Police remain committed to protecting citizens, accurate information and preventing any form of fraud and misuse of institutional identity.
ADVICE FOR MESSAGES WITH FRAUDULENT CONTENT
Do not click on suspicious links.
Do not give banking or personal data.
Do not open pages that ask for payments via SMS.
If you receive such messages:
Delete them immediately.
Report them to the relevant authorities.
Contact your bank if you have shared data.
Report through the “Report to Police” app or call 19. /Telegrafi/
