Two Brothers Wounded with Bladed Weapons in Saranda, Three Young Men Arrested in the Act

Three young men have been handcuffed by the Saranda Police, accused of wounding two brothers with bladed weapons during a momentary conflict. Arrested were citizens K. A., 22, as well as A. S. and E. B., both 19, all residents of the city of Saranda.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening, around 22:35, in neighborhood no. 1 of the coastal city. According to police, the three arrested had clashed over weak motives with brothers M. Sh., 20, and E. Sh., 25. During the altercation, the two brothers were struck with bladed weapons and are currently in hospital under the care of doctors.

The immediate reaction of police services made it possible to identify and capture the three suspected perpetrators in record time. The procedural materials have been passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Saranda Court of First Instance for the criminal offenses of “Grievous intentional wounding,” committed in collaboration, and “Disturbance of public peace.”

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Commissariat arrested in the act the citizens:

These citizens, in collaboration with one another, last evening, around 22:35, in neighborhood no. 1, Saranda, clashed, allegedly over weak motives, with two citizens (brothers).

During the conflict, the two brothers, M. Sh., 20, and E. Sh., 25, were struck with bladed weapons and are under the care of doctors.

Immediately after the incident, the Police services organized their work and, as a result of the timely reaction, identified, caught and arrested the suspected perpetrators of the wounding.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action, for the criminal offenses of “Grievous intentional wounding,” committed in collaboration, and “Disturbance of public peace.”
