US – Trump: I’m not worried about AI getting out of control

WASHINGTON, September 28 /ATSH-ANSA/ – “I’m not worried about that,” US President Donald Trump said regarding concerns that artificial intelligence could spin out of control, as OpenAI, Anthropic and several safety researchers are investigating tens of thousands of incidents linked to problematic behavior by advanced AI models.

“It’s just a big industry,” Trump added.

“We are ahead of China and we are building structures worth trillions of dollars. Why should we give up?” he asked.

“If something goes wrong, they should fix it,” Trump told Fox News, stressing that for Washington, keeping the technological edge over Beijing remains more important.
