Zhegrova: Juventus is always better than Inter, I want to leave my mark at this club!

Edon Zhegrova, the Juventus and Kosovo winger, has given an interview to Sportmediaset, touching on several topics, starting with the Dardanians’ latest match, in which he played only the final quarter of an hour.

“Starting from the bench against Israel was the coach’s decision. I can’t wait for the next match to start it. I believe in my national team, we have quality players. We’ll play at home and I think we have a great chance to win. We’ll do everything for first place in the group,” Zhegrova said.

Then the Kosovar spoke about Juventus: “I’m really very happy to be at Juve, it’s a big club. I couldn’t be happier with my teammates, the coach and the whole team. It’s a privilege to be part of this club and I’ll give my best every time I step onto the pitch.”

In the summer Zhegrova came close to being sold. “I stayed because I want to achieve something big at this club. I don’t want to leave Juventus like this. I wanted to stay and I want to do great things for this club,” stressed the Kosovar, who is outside the Europa League squad.

Can Juventus win the title? “We have a good team, a very good group. We want to win every match. I think we have quality, in the end we’ll do the math.” In the end Zhegrova took a swipe at champions Inter: “Are we stronger than them? I don’t want to talk about that, but Juventus is always better (laughs).”
