Nations League: Tuchel Names England Squad; Second Chance for Palmer and Alexander-Arnold, Foden Left Out

Thomas Tuchel has announced his England national team squad, as the “Three Lions” prepare for a three-week international break.

The German published England’s 26-player list for the upcoming internationals, highlighted by the returns of Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (Real Madrid).

Palmer has impressed under Xabi Alonso this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in five appearances; he returns to the “Three Lions” camp after missing the World Cup.

Another player returning to the England ranks is Trent Alexander-Arnold, despite a difficult start to the season at Real Madrid, where his place in the starting lineup has been uncertain, alternating with Denzel Dumfries.
