Parliament Meets in Plenary Session: From the Armed Forces’ Gaza Engagement to Two Urgent Interpellations

Parliament meets today in plenary session to debate and review a range of issues, including two urgent interpellations requested by MPs of the Democratic Party, as well as the bill on the participation of the Albanian Armed Forces in the military operation of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.

The plenary session starts at 10:00 a.m., and at its outset the minutes of the September 17, 2026 meeting will be approved, followed by announcements. Two urgent interpellations are on the agenda. The first is with Environment Minister Sofjan Jaupaj, requested by a group of MPs from the Democratic Party’s parliamentary group. The second interpellation is with Education Minister Mirela Kumbaro, also requested by opposition MPs.

One of the key issues to be reviewed is the bill “On the participation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania in the military operation of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.” Parliament will also review the bill “On some amendments and additions to law no. 10236, dated 18.2.2010, ‘On the takeover of companies through public offer.'”

Discussions on issues outside the agenda are planned at the end of the order of the day.
