‘Hallowarrior’: First Trailer for the New Horror Starring Milly Shapiro, Coming to Shudder on October 16

Streaming platform Shudder has released the first trailer for the new horror film “Hallowarrior”, starring Milly Shapiro — the actress known from “Hereditary” — in the lead role. The film tells a survival story set on Halloween night, in a world devastated by a mysterious plague.

Shapiro plays Pumpkin, a lone survivor whose Halloween is interrupted by a group of raiders. In the 1-minute-53-second trailer, she hears an alarm message in which she describes herself as “the last girl on Earth”, before being forced to defend her home with candy, wit and weapons.

The cast also includes Shannyn Sossamon as Thalia, as well as Ajani Russell and A.J. Bowen. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Ben Sottak.

“Hallowarrior” had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 10, 2026, and will begin streaming on Shudder on October 16, 2026 — just in time for the Halloween season.
