“Prania Besnike”, the SP gathers more than 1,800 concerns from citizens

Five weeks after “Prania Besnike” began to be implemented through individual meetings of SP deputies with citizens, Top Channel reveals what the total number of concerns gathered so far is.

Every citizen complaint noted by the deputies is entered into a dedicated online platform. Sources from the SP told Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu that since September 4, when “Prania Besnike” began to be implemented, more than 1,862 problems have been registered on the Praniabesnike.PS.Al platform.

After several conversations with socialist deputies, for the first time Top Channel shows how “Prania Besnike” works, a political action led by Edi Rama, the most important for the SP in this fourth governing mandate.

The platform is guided by four principles, which are: Listen, Note, Address and Follow. In a sentence below these principles is written “From the ground, people are seen better”, accompanied by a photo of some flamingos.

After the hearings with citizens end every Friday, each deputy, with personalised credentials, enters the Praniabesnike.PS.Al platform, where they register the concerns received from each citizen.

The complaint is then sent by e-mail to the relevant institution, which is obliged, within 30 days, to return a reply with the solution to the problem.

This reply received is entered into the system as a resolved case or one in the process of being resolved.

In cases where this deadline passes and the institution does not reply, then the political leader of the district contacts the institution, seeking explanations case by case when the reply is missing.

Prime Minister Edi Rama himself took part in one of the “Prania Besnike” meetings on September 11, held in Shkozë.

He accompanied the photo with this comment: “Prania Besnike is an experience completely different from anything I have lived in politics for so many years.”
