SNS accuses RTS of censoring Vučić on ‘Dnevnik 2’: demands disclosure of who ordered it

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), the ruling party in Serbia, has accused the public broadcaster RTS of deliberately interrupting the live broadcast from New York with President Aleksandar Vučić during last night’s edition of the news program “Dnevnik 2.” SNS described the act as censorship of the president and demanded that RTS publicly disclose who ordered the interruption.

In its reaction, the ruling party claims RTS “has been and remains the extended arm of the attempt at a color revolution in Serbia.” SNS warned the public broadcaster in advance not to hide behind “technical problems,” asserting that no previous live broadcast from the United States had experienced such problems.

According to SNS, the interrupted speech concerned its claims that the “blockade list” plans for women who support Vučić’s policies to be raped. These remain claims by the ruling party and are not presented as verified facts.

The new accusation deepens the clash between the authorities and the public broadcaster in Serbia, as SNS has called on RTS not to hide the identity of whoever ordered the alleged censorship of the president.
