Former KLA fighter released by North Macedonia police

Fadil Pushkolli, a former fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), has been released by the North Macedonia Police.

Pushkolli announced the news himself through a post on Facebook.

According to him, the North Macedonia Police questioned him and then released him.

“After an interview and questioning, I was released by the North Macedonia Police. I want to thank the North Macedonia Police, in particular the Albanian police officers, for their fairness, respect and good conduct throughout the procedure. KLA yesterday, freedom today,” Pushkolli wrote.

Pushkolli, a former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), had announced a day earlier that he had been arrested at the Bllacë–Elez Han border crossing, on the territory of North Macedonia.

According to Pushkolli, the arrest was made on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by the Serbian authorities. /Telegrafi/
