GJKKO Appeal accepts Meta’s request — no more glass dock during court hearings

The Appeal Court of the GJKKO has accepted former president Ilir Meta’s request to stay outside the glass dock during the court proceedings in the second instance.

Meta’s request was accepted by the court after the necessary measures were taken to guarantee security in the courtroom. According to the decision, he will stay next to his lawyer, at the same table during the hearings.

Meanwhile, at 3:30 p.m., GJKKO judge Erjon Bani will review Ilir Meta’s request to replace the security measure of “prison arrest”, after nearly two years behind bars.
