Lost on rugged mountain terrain in Qafë Mollë, two German tourists rescued by police
Two German tourists who had lost their way in mountainous terrain near Qafë Mollë were located and escorted to a safe area by the services of the Tirana Police.
The incident was reported around 20:15 on September 13, 2026, when police were notified that the two tourists needed help after losing their way in the area behind Mount Dajti.
Immediately after the report, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the operation to find and escort them.
After the search, the two tourists were located on rugged mountain terrain. Police provided the necessary assistance and escorted them from the area where they had been lost, confirming that they were in good health.
The German tourists thanked the officers for their swift response and the assistance provided.
The State Police emphasize that they remain committed to guaranteeing the safety of citizens, visitors and tourists, and urge all persons in emergency situations to call the toll-free number 112.
