“Mercedes” bursts into flames at the entrance of the underground parking in Fier, panic among citizens! Investigations into the causes begin

A “Mercedes-Benz” vehicle burst into flames this morning (September 18) at the entrance of the underground parking in the center of Fier.

The incident caused panic and concern among citizens, as a large amount of smoke spread from the vehicle, also covering the parking entrance.

The situation raised fears of a possible spread of the fire to the underground premises.

After the report of the incident, Police services immediately arrived at the scene, while two firefighting vehicles intervened to bring the flames under control.

According to preliminary data, the fire started in the engine part of the Mercedes-Benz. Firefighters intervened quickly, managing to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the parking lot.

Fortunately, the rapid intervention of the fire services made it possible to neutralize the situation in time, while no preliminary data on injured persons is reported.

Police and relevant services are at the scene, while the exact circumstances and cause that led to the vehicle being engulfed in flames are expected to be determined.
