Tahiri: After 16 September, the main issue for us is the Law on the Specialist Chambers

Arian Tahiri, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has declared that after the developments of 16 September, the main issue for him and his party is the adoption of the Law on the Specialist Chambers.

At a press conference, Tahiri said that citizens are united and that the issue of the Kosovo Liberation Army must not be exploited for political bargains or vote trading.

“The people are united and unified. For us, after 16 September, it is the law. Not bargains. Not telling us: vote for my president, and I will vote for the law,” Tahiri declared.

He stressed that, according to him, the KLA belongs to everyone and that this has always been the PDK’s approach.

“The KLA is everyone’s. We have always had this spirit. Manoeuvres and games have brought us to this state,” the PDK deputy said.
