Transmission pole near Sekirnik burned twice: Ilovica and Shtuka without power, Bosilova without drinking water

An electricity transmission pole near the village of Sekirnik has burned, and the fire, after being extinguished once, was set again, as MIA reports.

As a result of the incident, the villages of Ilovica and Shtuka have been left without electricity supply, while Bosilova and other settlements are without drinking water, which comes from the filtering station in Ilovica.

The news was announced by the mayor of the municipality of Bosilova, Risto Mançev, who described the situation created by the repeated fire at the pole.

The case was reported by MIA’s reporter in Strumica, Risto Tasev. The relevant services are expected to intervene to repair the pole and restore the electricity and water supply.
