They Aided Ergys Agasi While He Was on the Run: Forensics Chief and Embro Sulejmani Remanded in Custody

A hearing for Vlora Hyseni will be held today at the Special Court (GJKKO) at 12:00. Meanwhile, the court remanded in custody Fatjon Kalluci, head of the police forensics laboratory, and Embro Sulejmani, an employee of the “Agroturizëm Kodra e Kuajve” company.

Sulejmani’s lawyer arrived at the GJKKO.

Kalluci is accused of disclosing classified acts and data, while Sulejmani is accused of aiding the perpetrator of a crime. During the hearing at the GJKKO, the two did not speak and were represented by their lawyers, who requested a lighter security measure and a ruling of lack of jurisdiction — but the request was rejected by the presiding judge.

Kalluci, who serves as head of the forensic police, sent Ergys Agasi in August, before his arrest, three photos of the forensic examination of the “Landrover Defender” vehicle with license plate GG444AA found at Equos Resort.

Sulejmani, meanwhile, brought food to the apartment where Agasi was hiding. The data was discovered on Agasi’s phone.
