Did He Help Agasi Hide the Footage? Sulejmani in Court: ‘I Only Brought Him Food!’

Details from the testimonies given before the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) have been made public in connection with the proceedings in which businessman Embro Sulejmani was arrested, suspected of helping Ergys Agasi erase the traces of his meetings at a venue during the period he was on the run.

Before the court, Sulejmani denied involvement in any criminal offense. He stated that he knows Agasi, as both are from Durrës, and said he does not understand what crime he is being accused of.

According to his testimony, while Agasi was on the run, he brought him food and soup. “I don’t know what crime I have committed. I brought him soup and food,” Sulejmani is reported to have stated before the court.

In the same proceedings, forensic police officer Fatjon Kalluqi was also questioned. According to his testimony, he does not recall sending secret files, as the prosecution alleges.

Sulejmani and Kalluqi were arrested as part of the same criminal proceedings. The court has ordered the security measure of “prison arrest” for both.
