Tivat: Two Russian Nationals Arrested with Over 10 Bags of IT Equipment and €20,000 — Also Hold Israeli Passports

A large-scale operation by Montenegro’s security sector unfolded at Tivat Airport, where a 31-year-old Russian national, identified as Aleksandar Mihailovič Krugljanski, was arrested. Tivat police seized from him a large quantity of IT equipment — packed, according to unofficial information, in more than ten bags — as well as 20,000 euros in cash.

In the same operation, a woman was also arrested, likewise a foreign national, whose identity has not yet been made public.

According to sources of the newspaper Vijesti, which published the story on the evening of September 23 at 23:23, details on the type of seized equipment will emerge after the raid concludes, which is still ongoing.

A source revealed to Vijesti that both detainees, in addition to their Russian passports, also hold Israeli passports.

The circumstances of the arrest and the purpose of the seized equipment remain unclear, while Montenegrin authorities’ investigations continue.
