Tragedy in Jalë: 32-year-old holidaymaker from London dies

A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening in Jalë, where a 32-year-old woman who had come to spend her holidays in Himarë and was staying at a hotel lost her life after falling ill.

According to preliminary police information, the 32-year-old, identified by the initials I. R. and born in London, United Kingdom, had sought help at the hotel reception after feeling unwell. Hotel staff immediately transported her to the health center, but despite the assistance provided, the 32-year-old died.

Preliminary medical checks suggest the death was natural, as the young woman had suffered from health problems, specifically respiratory issues and diabetes. The investigation team, under the direction of the Prosecution, is continuing the procedural steps to fully determine the cause of death.
