Ceremony at the Presidency: Ervin Demo sworn in before Begaj as Interior Minister

Ervin Demo was sworn in this Friday (September 18) as Interior Minister, in a ceremony held at the Presidency.

The ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem, followed by the reading of the President’s decree appointing Demo at the helm of the Ministry of Interior.

The decree states:

«On the proposal of the Prime Minister, I decree: Mr. Ervin Demo is appointed Minister of Interior. This decree enters into force immediately.»

After the reading of the oath formula, with his hand on the Constitution, Ervin Demo was sworn into the new office and then signed the written act of the oath.

Demo takes over the leadership of the Ministry of Interior after being decreed by the President, officially starting his duty in this post, while at the same time also heading the Local Government.
