Milan Vukashinovic’s sister identifies the perpetrator of her brother’s injury: It was Radoicic’s collaborator
The indictment filed by the Kosovo Prosecution Office in the case of Milan Vukashinović, a Serb who was injured in mysterious circumstances in northern Kosovo in November last year, according to his family, has revealed new circumstances that preceded the injury.
Milan’s sister, Ivana, in a conversation with Nova.rs, emphasizes that, despite the fact that almost a year has passed, she has still not received answers to key questions regarding the case from Serbian institutions.
Milan’s family, according to his sister, only learned through information that emerged during the Kosovo Prosecution’s investigations about the persons who, according to the indictment, are suspected of being connected to the organization of the event.
She was particularly shocked by the name of the person identified with the initials AF. She claims that it is Aleksandar F., a person she has known since school and with whom she worked at the Regional Police Directorate in North Mitrovica.
Collaborator of Milan Radoicic
According to her claims, Aleksandar F. was the first associate and friend of Milan Radoicic, the controversial businessman. She says that, after the withdrawal of Serbs from Kosovo institutions in November 2022, he had considerable influence over police and other officials in northern Kosovo.
“It’s an understatement to say that we are in shock, especially since one of the organizers is the person with the initials AF. It’s about Aleksandar F., Milan Radoicic’s first collaborator and friend,” Milan’s sister declared.
She claims that, following the decision of Serbian police and officials to leave institutions in northern Kosovo, Aleksandar F. had described her brother, who had not left his workplace, as a “traitor” and a “spy”.
“Since Milan did not leave his job, Aleksandar F. targeted him as a traitor and spy, while warning people from northern Kosovo who had contacts with Milan that Milan was an enemy of the state and that he would face consequences,” his sister claims.
She believes that such circumstances show that, in addition to state structures, parastate formations were also involved in this entire issue.
“We are getting to what has been said from the beginning, that it is about a personal conflict, disobedience and so on,” she says.
“From the Serbian side – silence”
While the Kosovo Prosecution is now, through the indictment, releasing new details about the case, the family claims that it has not received a response from Serbian institutions.
“The family, unfortunately, has not received any explanation, only a wall of silence. All institutions have been contacted, but without response,” says Milan’s sister.
It remains particularly unclear to the family how the investigation by the Kosovar side, according to their interpretation, has reached concrete names and information, while on the Serbian side, as they claim, there has been no progress.
According to her, Kosovo investigators did not arrive at the name of Aleksandar F. through the family, but through the expertise of the phones found on Vidosav Mitrović, who was arrested on suspicion of having assisted in the attempted murder of Milan Vukašinović from Leposavic.
“No one from the family mentioned Filipović. They reached him through the expertise of 11 phones they found on Vidosav Mitrović,” she states.
Milan still immobile, medical treatment interrupted again
Meanwhile, Milan is in Kragujevac and, according to his sister, is still unresponsive.
She claims that during the 21 days he spent at the Niš Clinical Center, his condition had improved, but after returning to detention, without regular therapy, his condition deteriorated again.
According to his sister, Milan had received approval to continue treatment at the Military Medical Academy (VMA), but this treatment was blocked at the last moment.
“When he was 21 days in the Niš Clinical Center, there were improvements, but without therapy in detention, his condition returned to its previous point. He received approval to continue treatment at the VMA, but at the last moment it was blocked,” she says.
According to her, the consequences of the injury are permanent.
“He has completely changed, in a negative sense, and unfortunately the consequences will be visible throughout his life,” Milan’s sister declares.
Filipović called the family “traitors”
She also claims that during a conversation with Aleksandar F. on August 31, she received a message that she experienced as a warning.
According to her, he told her that he knew about her and her mother’s contacts with the Kosovo Police, after which, as she claims, he called them “traitors.”
“He told me directly that he knew about my mother’s and my contact with the Kosovo Police, that my mother always informs me when she gives statements as an injured party, that our president is Kurti and that we are traitors,” she claims.
Milan’s sister says the family does not feel directly threatened, but there is concern about possible pressure and for their safety.
“Milan has no fear for his safety, but there is a reasonable suspicion that his treatment is being blocked and he told the judge this during the visit,” she states.
So far, according to her, no one from the family has received direct threats, but she adds that after talking to Filipović, she got the impression that there might be problems when entering Serbia.
Two investigations, one without progress
We recall that the investigations into the injury of Milan Vukashinović are being conducted by two police forces – the Serbian Police and the Kosovo Police.
While the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs has not officially commented, but through pro-government media has published claims that Vukashinovic was arrested for espionage and that he was injured during an escape attempt, the Kosovo side claims that he was injured by members of the Serbian Gendarmerie and was practically kidnapped.
The attack on Vukashinović took place on November 1, 2025 in the village of Jelashcë. /Telegrafi/
